Arguably one of the biggest strengths of our training at NYP Brooklyn Methodist, our Ultrasound Department is nationally renowned and has been at the forefront of innovation and research in the field.

• 18 Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship trained faculty on staff (4 of which are Pediatric Emergency physicians)

• 2 previous ACEP Ultrasound Section Chairs (Dr. Chiricolo and Dr. Lawrence Melniker)

• Hands-on scanning with a variety of US machines (6 Zonare, 2 Mindray) and simulators (TEE - Symbionix and Medaphor OBGYN)

• In-depth training in basic and advanced exams

• ACEP Clinical Ultrasound Accredited Fellowship Program
