Brooklyn Methodist Emergency Medicine residency program is a 3 year program with 13 residents in each class. Our hospital is a STEMI center, stroke center, cardiac arrest center, and a level II trauma center. We have a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room with PEM-trained attendings and PEM fellows. We are an affiliate of Weill-Cornell College of Medicine and frequently have medical students rotating throughout the Emergency Department.
We are a tertiary care center with in-house specialities including: Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dental, ENT, GI, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, OB-GYN, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Podiatry, and Surgery
Our hospital also has residencies in many of these specialties including: Anesthesiology, Dental, OB-GYN Pediatrics, Podiatry, Surgery, and Internal Medicine. Brooklyn Methodist also offers internal medicine fellowships in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Gastroenterology.
