CONFERENCE
Conference is held every Wednesday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Curriculum consists of formal didactic sessions, lectures with nationally renowned guest speakers, anatomy and procedure labs, resident case presentations, and monthly M&M. Experts in law and finance are also invited to lecture to ensure broad education in today's medical culture. In addition, journal club is held once per quarter. During this time, residents and faculty review and critique current emergency medicine literature (typically over drinks!).
NYC also offers frequent city-wide lecture events, including the Critical Care Symposium, the NYACEP Resident Conference, and the AllNYC conference series. These conferences serve as an important opportunity to network with colleagues as well as interact with health professionals in other fields.
